Futuristic Heroes
A narrative campaign exploring three characters shaped by the same futuristic world. Designed a series of cinematic posters using color, lighting and visual storytelling to express their different paths.
Overview
Futuristic Heroes is a narrative campaign built around three original characters: Cyber Phantom, Aurora and Nexus. The project explores how people living in the same world and the same moment can make different choices, leading to completely different outcomes. Each poster introduces a character with their own conflict, motives and perspective, while the campaign brings them together as three paths shaped by the same environment.
Story Concept
The campaign is built on the idea that none of the characters are fully good or fully corrupt. They each responded differently to the same world, shaped by choices that felt right in their own eyes. Cyber Phantom carries the weight of betrayal and turns toward the shadows. Aurora chooses balance and moves with calm intention. Nexus walks the line between clarity and corruption, searching for his own truth. The visual direction combines neon lighting, urban textures and futuristic typography to create a city that feels electric, tense and alive. Each poster acts as a small window into the world these characters live in.
Cyber Phantom
Cyber Phantom is driven by quiet anger and a sense of injustice. He moves through the city with precision, using technology as both shield and weapon. His poster uses deep shadows, sharp contrasts and cold green accents to reflect the controlled intensity in his character. The environment around him feels tight and dangerous, echoing the world he sees every day.
Aurora
Aurora represents balance in a world that keeps breaking apart. Her presence is calm but strong, and her magenta glow creates a sense of warmth in a city built on tension. She sees beyond conflict and chooses a path that protects and guides rather than destroys. Her poster feels open and steady, showing how she brings softness into a harsh environment.
Nexus
Nexus stands in the middle of the story. He understands the corruption around him, but he also sees the possibility of change. His poster uses purple tones and reflective lighting to express his internal struggle, his intelligence and his constant need to question everything. He is not defined by light or darkness. He searches for the answer that feels true to him.
Design Approach
Color plays a major role in defining each character. Green gives Cyber Phantom a precise and driven tone. Magenta surrounds Aurora with warmth and balance. Purple brings out the conflict and quiet rebellion in Nexus. The posters use cinematic framing, layered depth and atmospheric glow to build a unified world. Urban elements and smooth gradients help each piece stand on its own while still feeling connected to the others. The typography stays minimal so the focus remains on emotion and storytelling.
Reflection
Futuristic Heroes helped me explore how design can carry story, emotion and character, even without words. It challenged me to build atmosphere through lighting, composition and visual mood rather than relying on heavy narrative explanation. The project shows how three people from the same place can walk three very different paths, all shaped by a world they share.
