Visual Design - Brand, Marketing & Product

Overview
Vizmo is a workplace management and security platform helping enterprises manage visitors, spaces, and factory operations through a suite of software and hardware solutions. I joined as a design intern and grew through two role changes over twenty months, becoming the company's sole in-house Visual Designer. The scope covered every visual channel the company operated across, brand identity, marketing, website, product visuals, app store design, and motion. Building a visual system that could scale consistently as the company itself was scaling became the defining challenge of the entire engagement.

The visual system at Vizmo needed a clear foundation. The goal was to create something modern, professional, and recognizable, a system that felt intentional and could scale consistently across every touchpoint the brand appeared on. Keeping the existing logo as the anchor, the rebrand focused on redefining the color palette, typography, and iconography into a structured visual language flexible enough to serve both the Workplace software and Factory hardware product lines without losing coherence between them.

Web Presence
The Vizmo website was built from the ground up, beginning as a focused build around the company's software product. As the company expanded into factory and hardware solutions, the website grew with it, two distinct sections serving two distinct audiences while still feeling like one cohesive brand. I contributed layouts, visual components, and branded assets across both sides, working closely with the development team through handoff to ensure the design carried through accurately into the final build.

App Store Presence
The app store listing is often the first point of contact between the product and a potential user. I designed the complete screenshot suite for both Vizmo Mobile and Vizmo Kiosk, covering Google Play and the App Store across iPhone and tablet formats. Each screen was built to communicate product value clearly and build confidence quickly, within a single scroll. Both apps are currently live on both platforms.
The product visual system was built from scratch with one clear purpose, translating complexity into simplicity. Vizmo's products deal with layered enterprise workflows, and visual communication became the tool that made those ideas legible and approachable. On the Workplace side, illustrations, interface visuals, and onboarding assets worked together to guide users across the portal and mobile app. The Factory side followed a different approach, more image-focused by nature, with illustration used selectively to support understanding where it was needed most.
Marketing design at Vizmo was fully within my scope, from creative direction through to final output. The early work leaned on illustration to establish the brand's visual voice and communicate product ideas clearly. Over time, real imagery was introduced alongside it, not as a replacement, but as a complement. Illustration remained the stronger tool for explaining concepts and workflows, while photography stepped in where the audience needed to see the product in the real world. The decision of which direction to take became a considered creative call made project by project.
Motion Design
The splash screen and loading screen animations were the first motion work introduced into the Vizmo mobile app. Designed and delivered as Lottie files, both animations were built to feel smooth, brand-aligned, and lightweight across devices. They represent a quiet but considered layer of the product experience, the kind of detail that shapes how a product feels before a user has done anything at all.
"Biswas is a highly creative visual designer who brings both consistency and innovation to the table. He was instrumental in developing our company's marketing assets and successfully designed a full illustration family from scratch. He is a hardworking professional and a great asset to any design team."
